What we install

One specialist for the screen, the sound and the wall.

From a single living-room television to a soundbar, cable concealment and the awkward wall nobody else wanted to touch. Every job is planned around the property rather than forced into a package.

Soundbar installation

Mounted, wired, connected over HDMI eARC and tuned. Including the brands whose brackets are not in the box.

Why Hobart is different

Most Hobart living rooms are not brick veneer.

Hobart holds some of the oldest housing stock in the country, and the wall behind your plaster decides the method, the time and the risk. A television that takes 45 minutes to hang in a Kingston brick-veneer home can take 90 minutes in a West Hobart cottage. We price for that up front rather than discovering it on the day.

01

Timber-framed weatherboard

West Hobart, North Hobart, New Town, Moonah, Glenorchy, and the Battery Point cottages.

02

Lath and plaster

Almost any Hobart home built before 1940, which covers most of the inner suburbs: West Hobart, New Town, North Hobart, South Hobart and Sandy Bay.

03

Sandstone and colonial stone

Battery Point, Salamanca, the Liverpool Street heights and the older parts of Sandy Bay.

04

Solid double brick

Interwar and early postwar Hobart homes across Glenorchy, Moonah and New Town.

How it runs

From a photo of the wall to a working television, in three steps.

The build era of your house tells us more about the job than anything else you could send, which is why we ask for it before quoting.

01

Tell us the basics

Screen size and model, the room, your suburb, and roughly when the house was built. A photo of the wall is worth more than any description.

Usually answered same day
02

We price it properly

A fixed price for standard walls. Sandstone and heritage-listed fabric we quote on site, because pricing those over the phone would be guessing.

Fixed price, itemised
03

We install and hand over

Wall assessed, framing located and confirmed, screen set from your seated eye line, cables run, devices connected, site left clean.

45 to 90 minutes on site
Local coverage

Greater Hobart, six council areas, no call-out fee.

We cover the whole of Greater Hobart, from Battery Point sandstone to Kingston new builds and the Eastern Shore. Work beyond this area is quoted individually so the travel component is visible before you book.
